Software with Drill and Mill Support for One-sided and Double-sided Contacting
This software tool with comfortable WINDOWS-forms makes it a lot easier to operate the REINHARDT-system for drilling fixtures. The software relieves the operator of the drilling system of working out many setting parameters which are already known. A wizard helps to use this software without an instruction and saves time. The software offers a number of other options, such as e.g. saving a project and displaying the drill and place procedure optically.
With the data that were calculated and selected out of the Gerber files, the bed-of-nails is drilled one-sidedly or double-sidedly for contact pins, reference pins, guiding angles etc. The wizard helps set up the fixture drilling system - from start to finish. The operator chooses between one- or double-sided contacting, he selects the resp. carrier plate as well as the used fixture system. Depending on the selected material, the suitable parameters are set automatically. The requested file, created by ATSGERB is selected, the DCode is assigned to the magazine and the drilling diameter is selected. Different drilling diameters (e.g. 50 mil, 75 mil) can be drilled in the same drilling procedure. The entries and parameters are checked and changed if necessary. The complete settings can be saved as a project and called off later. The bed-of-nails with millings (maybe) is placed comfortably on the exchange plate. After drilling and milling, the spring contact pins and receptacles are taken from the magazines and pressed in and wiring starts.
