Sensor for measuring precipitation, made up of a self-emptying bucket and a collector vessel



The sensor is made up of a collector vessel (collecting area 200 cm2) and a self-emptying bucket and. The high quality steel housing holds the sensor and the complete evaluation electronics. The sensor records precipitation activity and intensity. Data interface can be coded RS232, RS422 or RS485. Baud rate can be configured from 1,200 to 38,400. The sensor can be expanded with WLAN for long-distance data transmission. With a REINHARDT-TCP/IP-module data transmission is available via an existing network.

Its optional comfortable menu-driven software can be used with MS WINDOWS® (versions 11®, 10®, 8® and 7®). Power supply 6–30 VDC; the sensor is fixed with a thread M18x1.5 (nut incl.) and outlet for cable connection with Push-Pull connector. Connection is easy with one 4wire or 6wire connection in a plug and play procedure.
